Temporary food vendors in Denville need to be aware of important procedural changes recently adopted by the Township Council. Ordinance No. 19.24 not only increased the temporary food license fee but also introduced new requirements for multi-vendor events.

Under the updated ordinance, organizers of events involving two or more food vendors must submit all necessary applications to the township’s Health Department no later than ten business days before the event. This aims to streamline the application process and ensure compliance with health standards.

By centralizing the process, Denville officials hope to provide better oversight of temporary food events and safeguard public health. The township will also conduct workshops to ensure all parties understand the new requirements.
