Set for Saturday, March 14 at noon, this year’s parade promises another unforgettable celebration of Irish heritage, community spirit, and Morris County pride. Patrick’s Day Parade 2026 is Grand Marshal Michael G. Bannon of Roxbury, a longtime volunteer and dedicated supporter of Irish heritage in Morris County.
The day begins with Mass at Assumption Church at 10:00 AM, honoring Irish heritage and St. Patrick himself. From there, the excitement builds as spectators line the streets ahead of the noon parade start. The parade route winds through historic downtown Morristown, including around the iconic Morristown Green, making it one of the most scenic and spirited community events of the year.
More than 75 volunteers contribute over 2,500 hours each year to organize the event. The parade receives no public funding, relying instead on generous support from corporate sponsors, individual donors, and the annual souvenir Ad Journal. Denville residents often participate in or attend this beloved Morris County tradition that celebrates the strong Irish heritage throughout the region.
