A Short Hills man was arrested and charged in connection with a theft at a Denville business last month, according to a public information release from the Denville Police Department.

On April 19, 2026, officers responded to Reliable Lift Truck Services at 88 Ford Road after the business reported a theft. Upon arrival, police determined that an unknown suspect had forced entry into a locked container and removed six 33-gallon propane tanks before fleeing the scene.

Through follow-up investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jason W. Bostian, 39, of Short Hills, NJ. Bostian was later apprehended and charged with Burglary (2C:18-2A(1)) and Theft (2C:20-3A).

Following processing, Bostian was released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
