A sinkhole emerged on Interstate 80 in New Jersey during Thursday morning’s rush hour, causing the closure of eastbound lanes in Morris County.

The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. near Exit 34, according to ABC7. The sinkhole consumed part of the shoulder and extended into the right lane, disrupting traffic flow in the area.
