A body was discovered under the Route 46 bridge in Dover on Sunday night, officials confirmed.
A passerby noticed the man unresponsive and alerted Dover police shortly around 8:50 p.m., according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities stated there were no visible signs of injuries, and his death is suspected to have resulted from natural or medical causes.
The man’s identity has not been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing, prosecutors said.
