Morris Knolls dominated Teaneck 61-44 in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 semifinals on March 4, using its tough defense to shut down a high-scoring opponent.
Denay Jones led the way with 16 points, while Lucia Nash added 15 and Tessa Simone contributed 11. The Lady Eagles built a 29-21 halftime lead and pulled away in the third quarter, maintaining control throughout.
With the win, No. 2-seeded Knolls (23-5) advances to the sectional championship against top-seeded Demarest (23-5) on March 7 at 5 PM in Demarest.
