Creature Crafters programs are scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 4:00 pm at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center. Each month, families learn about a new mystery NJ animal with a short walk and lots of touchable artifacts, followed by hands-on craft activities.
Children make a cool craft featuring that animal, while adults are welcome to drop off or stay and take part. The Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, located at 247 Southern Boulevard in Chatham Township, provides educational programming for Morris County families throughout the year.
Awesome Animal Artists programs are scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 4:00 pm, where young artists learn to draw a new mystery NJ animal while discovering facts about its life, then take home their masterpiece. All experience levels are welcome, and parents are welcome to drop off or stay and take part.
These programs offer Denville families and residents throughout Morris County excellent opportunities to connect with nature and wildlife education.
