The Morris County 4-H Fair returns to High View Farms in Mount Olive for three days of animals, rides, and hands-on fun from Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, 2026. The fair runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 416 Sand Shore Road.
This year’s theme is “Color the World with 4-H,” and the grounds will be full of things to do. Families can meet 4-H project animals including goats, chickens, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs, watch chicks hatch, and hop on monster truck rides, hay rides, and farm tour tractor rides. Free hands-on activities, animal shows, quiz bowls, face painting, fairy hair, food trucks, and dozens of crafters and vendors fill out the weekend.
The schedule is packed all three days. Friday features a talent show, a watermelon eating contest, and the Parade of Clubs at 5 p.m. Saturday brings a Morris County Sheriff’s K-9 demo, an open pet show, and a performance by Denville’s own Bach to Rock at 5 p.m. Sunday adds a car show benefiting animal rescue, a herpetology show, and a closing awards ceremony.
The fair is run by youth in Morris County’s 4-H clubs, and entries are open to local kids in grades K through 13. Organizers ask visitors to leave pets at home, since only 4-H project dogs and official service dogs are allowed on the grounds.
