Authorities in Morris County have arrested the owner of a Denville massage business following an investigation into alleged illegal activities at the establishment. Soon Y. Bang, 63, of Fairview, also known as “Cindy,” has been charged with promoting prostitution, money laundering, and engaging in prostitution after law enforcement uncovered evidence suggesting the business was operating as a front for illicit activities.
Bang is the owner of Oasis Spa, located at 3108 Route 10 West, which investigators say was being used for prostitution. Authorities allege that Bang personally profited from the proceeds of sex acts performed at the business.
On February 20, 2025, Denville Police, in coordination with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, executed search warrants at both the massage parlor and the residence of its manager in Fairview. Officers reportedly discovered a large sum of U.S. currency, which they claim is evidence of prostitution.
Additionally, authorities allege that Bang and Yushun Li, 67, of Flushing, New York, engaged in sexual activity in exchange for money. Li was also charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense.
The operation was part of a larger investigation that involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Denville Township Police Department, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force, United States Secret Service, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Edison Police Department, Morris County Sheriff’s Office, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities say the case is still under investigation and encourage anyone with additional information to contact the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office at (973) 285-6200 or the Denville Police Department at (973) 627-4900.
