Route 80 east in Parsippany came to a standstill Friday morning after a four-vehicle pileup left one van on its side and debris covering the roadway.
The collision happened close to the Route 287 interchange at mile marker 42.3, near the stretch locals know as Denville Hill. New Jersey State Police identified the vehicles involved as two tractor-trailers, a Ford van, and a Nissan van.
Video footage captured by CBS News showed the Ford van flipped over following the impact.
Three people were hurt in the crash, including both tractor-trailer drivers and the driver of the Ford van. All three were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
All eastbound lanes were blocked as crews worked to clear the scene on Friday, May 29, 2026.
