An overnight fire has left Cafe Crevier in Downtown Denville heavily damaged and several neighboring businesses affected early Tuesday morning.
Denville police responded to reports of smoke at the cafe at approximately 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, emergency responders found an active fire, prompting a swift escalation to a three-alarm response. The Denville Fire Department arrived shortly after and fought the flames to bring the fire under control.
Officials confirmed the blaze caused significant structural and interior damage to Cafe Crevier. Neighboring businesses along the downtown strip were also impacted, with Chocolatine, A&R Interiors, and Throttle Racing Club all suffering damage. No injuries have been reported.
The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and local fire officials are actively investigating the origin of the blaze.
