Cirque Italia brings its Water Circus Atlantis to Rockaway Townsquare for seven shows from Friday, Sept. 18 through Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, setting up a traveling water stage under a big top tent a few minutes up Route 80 from Denville.
The white and blue tent goes up at the Morris County mall at 301 Mt Hope Avenue in Rockaway. Showtimes are Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., and Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Cirque Italia builds its water shows around a custom stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water, with acrobats, aerialists, hand balancers and contortionists performing over and around it. The company was founded in 2012 by Italian entrepreneur Manuel Rebecchi and now runs multiple touring units across the United States and Canada. Atlantis is the Gold Unit show, and Rockaway is its final New Jersey stop of the run after dates in Lawrenceville and Freehold.
Tickets range from $15 to $65 depending on seating level, with separate child pricing for ages 2 to 12. Children under 2 are free but must sit on a parent’s lap, and strollers and car seats are not permitted inside the venue. Seats can also be bought at the door with cash or card, and the Cirque Italia box office at 941-704-8572 handles ADA and companion seating.
