Denville will hold a walk-in flu vaccine clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Denville Township Municipal Building, 1 Saint Mary’s Place. No appointment is needed.

The clinic is geared toward adults 65 and older and residents living with a chronic illness, according to a township flyer the Denville Police Department shared on its Facebook page on Oct. 1. New this year, both the standard flu shot and a higher dose version will be offered.

The higher dose shot is intended for people 65 and older, as well as adults 18 to 64 who have had an organ transplant or are receiving immunosuppressive therapy.

Medicare is accepted. Denville Township employees get the vaccine free. Anyone else without Medicare pays a $25 fee, and the clinic takes cash only, so plan ahead before heading over.

Questions about the clinic can go to the township at 973-625-8300, ext. 261. The Denville Health Department lists flu shots among the preventive services it provides residents, and its office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
