The Denville institution. Jack Fine and Lois Ciecinski left their Dairy Queen franchises in 1968 to make their own hard ice cream, and their children Karen, Richard and Patrick run the shop today. It survived flooding from Hurricane Irene in 2011, was fully renovated and reopened.

Denville Dairy rotates more than 100 specialty and seasonal flavors, with about 28 in the case at any time, plus soft serve, sherbet, Italian ices, sugar free and fat free options and ice cream cakes. It is open year round, not just in summer.
