On January 29, 2026, at approximately 1:04 PM, the Denville Township Police responded to Route 46 westbound near Franklin Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries.
During the crash investigation, officers determined that the driver of one of the vehicles, identified as Alexandra M. Campbell, was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. As a result, Campbell was placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, officers located multiple pills without a valid prescription, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Campbell was transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing, where she was charged accordingly and issued the appropriate motor vehicle summonses. She was later released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
