One of Morris County’s longest-running summer traditions is back this month, as White Meadow Lake Festival Days returns July 16 through 19, 2026 in the White Meadow Lake section of Rockaway Township.
Now in its fourth decade, the festival packs four days of family activities into the lakeside community, a short drive from Denville. Organizers have lined up carnival rides, food and refreshments, a vendor marketplace, live DJ music, and a full slate of contests and games for all ages.
The weekend also brings back the festival’s signature competitions, including the popular 5K, the kayak and canoe race, a volleyball tournament, and the sandcastle contest. A parade and float contest rounds out the community lineup.
The celebration closes Sunday, July 19 with its traditional fireworks finale over the lake. Because parking near the clubhouse is limited and many surrounding streets are marked no-parking, organizers will run free bus transportation on Sunday from eight pickup points around the lake.
Full details, the event schedule, and parking information are posted on the official White Meadow Lake Festival Days website.
Closer to town, Denville has its own busy summer calendar, from the Fourth of July fireworks at Gardner Field to the Music in the Park concert series.
