Denville Township will mark Independence Day with a free fireworks display and live concert at Gardner Field on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

The evening starts at 7 p.m. with a performance by The Street Hassle Band, with the fireworks show following after dark. Gardner Field sits at 2 Savage Road, the same park that hosts the town’s summer Music in the Park series.

Families are encouraged to arrive early and stake out a spot. The township asks attendees to bring their own camping chairs along with their favorite food and drinks. Pets should be left at home for the night.

The Fourth of July fireworks are one of Denville’s biggest summer traditions, drawing residents from across the township and neighboring Morris County towns to the fields off Savage Road.

Parking near Gardner Field fills up fast on the holiday, so neighbors who can walk or bike to the field are encouraged to do so. Anyone driving should plan for extra time before the band takes the stage at 7 p.m.
