The Denville Arts Council will bring its fall Art in the Park show back to Hogan’s Memorial Park on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The free outdoor gallery turns the wooded park at 113 Diamond Spring Road into an open air art show. Visitors can walk the grounds shared by the park and the Denville Museum, meet the artists at their booths and buy work straight from them. The day also includes live painting and demonstrations, an outdoor children’s art gallery and concessions run by the council.

Hogan’s Memorial Park sits next to the Denville Museum and the Denville Public Library on Diamond Spring Road, which puts the show in the middle of town. It also lands on the Sunday before Denville students return to class on Sept. 8.

Art in the Park runs twice a year, once in spring and once in fall, and it is one of the council’s longest running events alongside its summer Music in the Park concerts at Gardner Field.

Artists who still want a booth can apply. The show is open to visual artists 18 and older, and every item sold has to be original work made by the artist showing it. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, metal, jewelry, printmaking, glass, ceramics, mixed media, fiber and woodworking. The rules and the application form are posted on the council’s Art in the Park page.

The council is also selling event sponsorships at $500 each. Sponsors get two signs at the park entrance and the gazebo, shoutouts over the sound system during the show, a spot for promotional material at the main booth and social media coverage. Businesses can email info@denvilleartscouncil.org to sign up.

The Denville Arts Council also runs the Makers’ Market alongside the Denville Farmers’ Market on Bloomfield Avenue and the Fairy Trail Walk at Muriel Hepner Park.
