On March 19, 2026, the Denville Police Department received a 911 call reporting a possible fire inside the Walgreens located at 22 W. Main Street. Officers responded to the scene and, during the course of the investigation, determined that the fire had been intentionally set.
Through investigative means the suspect was later identified as April Sedutto. As a result of the investigation, Sedutto turned herself in at Denville Police Headquarters, where she was placed under arrest and processed.
Sedutto was subsequently charged in connection with the incident and was released pending a future court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
