The regular season is the long one. In 2026 it opened Sunday, May 3 and runs every Sunday through November 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with one skipped date on June 7. That means the market is open right now and has roughly eleven Sundays left in the 2026 regular season.
The market does not close for the year when the regular season ends. A shorter winter market picks up in December and runs on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through late April, which is why Denville is one of the few towns in Morris County where you can buy from a farm stand in February.

The market sets up in the Bloomfield Avenue municipal parking lot in downtown Denville. It is the same lot people use for the Broadway restaurants and shops, which is the practical thing to know: the market takes up parking spaces on the one morning a week when the lot is otherwise easy.
Come before 10 a.m. and parking is straightforward. Between 10 a.m. and noon it fills, and the overflow pushes onto the surrounding downtown streets. What you will find
The lineup runs wider than produce. In a typical week the market carries locally grown and organic produce, grass fed meats, artisan cheeses, fresh baked bread, small batch coffee, hot sauces, empanadas, prepared foods and cut flowers, alongside plants in the spring and pumpkins and cider in the fall.
Returning vendors include Union Hill Farms, Untamed Ferments and Puras Paletas. Several vendors let you order during the week and pick up on Sunday, which is the move if there is something specific you do not want to miss.
Bring a reusable bag and bring cash. Most vendors take cards, but not all of them, and the ones with the shortest lines are usually the cash ones.
