On January 11, 2025, at approximately 7:42 p.m., Denville Township Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street near the 7-Eleven. During the stop, officers discovered that the driver was improperly transporting a firearm.
The individual was later arrested and transported to Denville Police Headquarters for processing. Following the issuance of several summonses, the driver was released with a pending court date at Morris County Superior Court.
