Downtown Denville is getting its own guided food tour this month. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Chow Town Food Tours runs its new Delicious Denville walk from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, taking small groups behind the counter at four standout local eateries while weaving in centuries of local history.
The route covers roughly a mile of flat sidewalk through Denville’s walkable downtown. Stops include sweets at the site of the former Broadway Theater and pub fare at the oldest tavern in town, with chefs and owners introducing each tasting along the way.
The history piece is what sets this one apart. The walk is co-led by the Denville Historical Society, with local historian Vito Bianco providing the storytelling. A portion of every ticket helps fund the nonprofit’s preservation work.
