The Township of Denville, in partnership with Saint Clare’s Health, will host its annual Rockaway River Cleanup on Saturday, May 10th, from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event encourages community members to assist in removing litter and debris from the river.
Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. Registration begins at 9 AM at Saint Clare’s Health, 25 Pocono Road, in the lower parking lot near the ER. Morning refreshments, including bagels and coffee, will be available, and pizza will be served in the afternoon. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.
Participants are advised to wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy boots. Waders and insect repellent are recommended, and optional supplies include work gloves, branch loppers, or bow saws.
