The 21st Annual Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, continuing a long-standing tradition in the Morris Knolls community. The event is held in memory of Ryan Steidl, a 2006 Morris Knolls High School graduate who passed away in 2011.
The run will begin at 9:00 AM EDT and continue until 12:00 PM EDT. Participants can register in one of four categories:
- General Public – $35
- MK Students, Staff, & Alumni – $25
- Under 18 – $15
- USATF-NJ Members – $27
Registration is open until April 27, with deadlines varying slightly by category. All participants will receive a race T-shirt.
The course will follow the same route as in previous years. Parking is available near the hospital on Pocono Road, with directions provided on the event site.
The MK5K was renamed in Ryan’s honor following his death in 2011, when he was struck by a car while training. The event supports a scholarship fund and serves as a way for the community to reflect on his impact.
