Holiday shopping starts early in Mount Tabor this year. The Mount Tabor Historical Society will hold its fourth annual Mount Tabor Craft Market on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission is free.

More than 25 vendors are set to fill the historic Tabernacle and Bethel in Trinity Park with handmade goods and original artwork, according to the historical society’s craft market page. The society is pitching the day as a way to back local artisans ahead of the holiday season.

The market is held indoors, inside two of the village’s historic buildings. For GPS directions, the society says to use 26 Simpson Avenue, Mount Tabor, NJ 07878. The village sits just over the Denville line in Parsippany-Troy Hills, a short drive for most Denville residents.

Questions about the market can be sent to the organizers at TaborCraftMarket23@gmail.com.

The society has a busy stretch ahead. Its free Edgar Allan Poe program comes to the Tabernacle on Saturday, Oct. 24, and closer to home, the Denville Makers’ Market returns for the holidays on Sunday, Nov. 1, giving gift hunters two local craft shows in back-to-back weekends.
