Denville PAL basketball wraps up travel team tryouts for the 2026-27 season this week, with sessions for grades 4 through 8 on Tuesday, Sept. 29 and Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, at Valleyview Middle School and Lakeview School.
Tuesday, Sept. 29 tryouts
- Valleyview Middle School: 6 p.m. 4th grade boys, 7 p.m. 5th grade boys, 8 p.m. 6th grade boys
- Lakeview School: 6 p.m. 6th grade girls, 7 p.m. 5th grade girls
Wednesday, Sept. 30 tryouts
- Valleyview Middle School: 6 p.m. 7th grade girls, 7 p.m. 7th grade boys, 8 p.m. 8th grade boys
- Lakeview School: 6 p.m. 4th grade girls, 7 p.m. 8th grade girls
Valleyview Middle School is at 320 Diamond Spring Road and Lakeview School is at 44 Cooper Road. Registration for the travel program, known as the Denville Demons, is open now through the league’s online form, which is linked on the Denville PAL Basketball website.
Rec basketball sign-ups coming in October
Recreation basketball registration for grades 1 through 8 is set to open in October, according to the league. A high school rec league is also taking registrations now, with teams submitting roster forms online. Questions can go to denvillebasketball07834@gmail.com.
