The downtown breakfast standby on Broadway, with indoor and outdoor seating and takeout. The menu covers French toast, pancakes, breakfast bowls, breakfast sandwiches, omelets and eggs any style, and the house calls itself the home of Scott’s World Famous Hash. Lunch brings sandwiches, salads, hand pressed burgers and steaks. It is a short walk from the Denville train station.

Carver’s
Carver’s bakes its own bread, and you taste it in the toast that comes with nearly every plate. The menu runs from a traditional breakfast and homemade corned beef hash with two eggs to buttermilk or multigrain pancakes, huevos rancheros over brown rice and beans, and a breakfast burger topped with Taylor ham and a fried egg on thick French toast. Gluten sensitive pancakes are available. The restaurant calls itself voted number one breakfast in Morris and Essex County.
