Diamond Spring Brewing Co. is turning its Denville beer garden over to the dogs on Halloween. The brewery’s Halloween Spooktacular Pup Party runs Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at 50 Broadway, with a pet costume parade and contest, pet vendors and a dog-friendly trick-or-treat trail through Downtown Denville.
The main event starts at 2 p.m., when costumed pups parade through the beer garden to the Diamond Spring stage for the costume contest. Podcast host Terrie Carr is set to host the contest and award prizes, according to the brewery.
Entering a dog costs $10, and Diamond Spring says it will match every entry dollar for dollar. The money benefits the Together in Care Fund, which helps pay for medically necessary veterinary care for pets whose families are facing financial hardship. Entry tickets are sold through the shop on the brewery’s Halloween Spooktacular event page. Buyers confirm they are 21 or older, choose pickup, enter 10/31 as the pickup time, then check in on contest day to fill out a short pet bio. No physical ticket is needed.
A DJ will play throughout the afternoon. Vendors include the Mutts on Main sips and snacks cart, Amanda & Daisy dog accessories, and Viva La Pet, which makes framed nose or paw print keepsakes on the spot. The brewery will also sell its own dog beer.
Owners can also walk their dogs along a trick-or-treat trail of about a dozen downtown businesses, including Denville Diner, Denville Hardware, Sweets by Dani, Sneaker Factory and Enchanted Storybooks and Portraits. Participating shops will have paw prints in their windows, and the brewery has posted a map of the stops on its event page.
