The Witchery, a one-night fall festival built around folklore, artisans and spiritual practitioners, returns to the historic Ayres Knuth Farm in Denville on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Organized by Two Girls Media, the event turns the farm at 25 Cooper Road into an evening marketplace of makers and practitioners selling handcrafted goods, crystals and other curiosities, along with spiritual services. Folklore performances, live demonstrations and hands-on activities round out the night.
Doors open at 4 p.m. The posted schedule starts with an opening ceremony at 4:30 p.m., a live painting artist working through the evening and a folk magic painting session from 5 to 6 p.m.
The event is open to all ages, and parking is free. Tickets are sold in advance on The Witchery 2026 Eventbrite page, which also offers a VIP upgrade with extra perks. The organizer lists a no-refund policy, and no rain date has been posted.
The setting is part of the draw. Morris County Tourism describes the Ayres/Knuth Farmstead as the county’s oldest continuously operating farm, with 10 original structures still standing.
It is one of several Halloween events happening around Denville this season, and one half of a witchy weekend in town. The night before, Pink Witches Night Out returns to Downtown Denville on Friday, Oct. 16.
