Voting by mail and ballot drop boxes

To get a mail-in ballot, your application must reach the Morris County Clerk’s office by Tuesday, Oct. 27. After that, you can still apply and vote a mail-in ballot in person at the Clerk’s office until 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2. Ballots for voters already on the mail-in list went out by Sept. 19.

The Clerk’s office has warned that a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision and ongoing litigation between the state and the federal government could affect mail-in ballots this year.
