The Denville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for community members to join their team. If you are 16 years or older or a retiree with time to give, this could be your opportunity to make a difference. The department, which is 100% volunteer, provides all necessary training and equipment to new members.
Those interested are invited to visit the Main Street Fire Station at 2 Indian Road on Monday evenings after 7:30 PM. Volunteers will be available to answer questions and discuss how you can get involved. For further inquiries, email denvillefdrecruitment@gmail.com.
The fire department is also asking for the community’s help in keeping fire hydrants clear of snow and ice this winter. Ensure at least three feet of clearance around hydrants to provide firefighters with quick access during emergencies. This effort can have a significant impact on protecting lives and property.
