On January 25, 2025, at approximately 1:49 p.m., Denville police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an active robbery, possibly involving a weapon, at the Union Hill Shopping Center. Upon arrival, officers located a suspect matching the descriptions provided by multiple eyewitnesses.
During the investigation, the suspect, later identified as Raul A. Green, was found carrying a large amount of cash in his pocket, which police said was stolen from a retail store. Authorities determined that Green had successfully robbed one store and had attempted to rob additional locations.
Green was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing before being charged with two counts of robbery. He was then taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court date. No weapons were found in his possession. This incident is still under investigation.
