Eleventh Hour Rescue’s biggest community event of the year is back. Puptoberfest 2026 takes over Horseshoe Lake, 72 Eyland Avenue in Succasunna, on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Morris County nonprofit, which pulls dogs and cats off death row, says Puptoberfest typically draws around 3,000 people. The event runs rain or shine, and all proceeds go toward caring for the rescue’s animals.
What to Expect
- Dog and cat adoptions, with adoptable pets on site
- A dog costume contest
- A Tricky Tray with more than 70 baskets
- A 50/50 raffle, with the winner drawn the day after the event (players must be 18 or older)
- Food trucks, music and more than 60 vendors
Bring the Dog
Dogs are welcome as long as they stay on a leash. The rescue asks guests to leave retractable leashes at home.
Admission
Tickets are $11 for adults and $5 for students, and children five and under get in free. A family ticket covering up to five people is $30. Tickets can be bought ahead of time through the Eleventh Hour Rescue Puptoberfest page.
