Broadway in downtown Denville runs from an Irish pub to a brewery to a fish market to an ice cream counter in about three blocks, and the rest is spread along Route 46, East Main Street and Diamond Spring Road. This is the walkable stretch, a short walk from the NJ Transit Denville station and the municipal lot.

- Uncle Momo, 45 Broadway, Suite 2, (973) 453-6141. Lebanese and Mediterranean plates plus crepes, and one of the better brunches in town. Closed Tuesdays.
- Denville Seafood and Codmothers Cafe, 61 Broadway, (973) 627-2987. A fish market and a sit down cafe under one roof, with fish coming in from the Fulton Fish Market. Patio seating when the weather holds.
- Sergio and Co. Italian Specialties, 28 Broadway, (973) 627-1043. Open since 1999. Hero sandwiches, homemade Italian specialties and the catering trays that show up at half the parties in Morris County.
- Diamond Spring Brewing Company, 50 Broadway, (973) 453-6341. Denville’s brewery and taproom, built into a converted 1960s service station with a big beer garden out back.
- Denville Diner, 17 Broadway, (973) 625-3133. Breakfast, brunch and lunch. Daytime hours only, so it is a morning and midday stop, not a late night one.
- Denville Dairy, 34A Broadway, (973) 627-4214. Homemade ice cream and ice cream cakes, and a big part of why downtown Denville has a reputation as a dessert stop.
- Sweet Expressions by Geri, 26 Broadway, (973) 625-0025. Bakery and sweet shop a few doors down.

- Casa Bella, 300 Route 46, (973) 627-2003. The sit down Italian dinner in Denville. The dining room is dressed up, but the real draw in warm weather is the deck over Arrowhead Lake, one of the best outdoor tables in town.
- Kraves Pizza and Restaurant, 28 Diamond Spring Road, (973) 453-6655. Pizza plus a full Italian restaurant menu, and a regular in the running whenever Denville argues about its best pizza.
- Sergio and Co., 28 Broadway, (973) 627-1043. Not a sit down restaurant, but the answer when you want Italian without the dinner.

- Hunan Taste, 67 Bloomfield Avenue. A Denville landmark since 1986 and impossible to miss, since the building is designed as an ancient Chinese pagoda. Fine dining Chinese with a full bar.
- Thonglor Thai Bistro, 28 Diamond Spring Road, (973) 453-6991. One of the newer additions to the Denville scene and the town’s Thai option.
- Miga Sushi, 559 East Main Street, (973) 625-3828. The busiest sushi room in Denville by review volume. Closed Mondays.

- Sheimer’s Deli, 3110 Route 10, (973) 302-3280. Out on Route 10 rather than downtown, and a regular lunch stop for anyone working that corridor.

- Cafe Metro, 60 Diamond Spring Road. Denville’s cafe option since the June 2026 fire on East Main Street.

Recently closed, so you do not drive over for nothing
- Cafe Crevier, 25 East Main Street, and Chocolatine, 23 East Main Street. Both were hit by the overnight fire on East Main Street in June 2026 and have not reopened. The cause was investigated by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
- Denville Pizzeria, 20 Diamond Spring Road. Closed in late August 2026 after about 50 years in business. Its ordering pages are still live on delivery apps, so it is easy to order from a shop that is no longer there.
