Denville’s Music in the Park series continues Tuesday, July 28, 2026, with country band Country Comfort taking the Gardner Field bandstand from 7 to 9 p.m.
The concert is free and open to all. The bandstand sits beside Field 1 at Gardner Field, 2 Savage Road. Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and spread out on the field. If the weather does not cooperate, the show moves to Friday, July 31.
The Denville Public Library runs children’s activities at each concert, which makes the series an easy weeknight outing for families.
Music in the Park is presented by the Denville Arts Council in partnership with the Township of Denville. Proceeds go back to the Arts Council to pay for art and music events in town.
Two concerts have already passed this summer, with Jeiris Cook on July 14 and Burnt Leftovers on July 21. After Tuesday, three dates remain: The Exits on August 11, and two acts still to be announced on August 18 and August 25. Each night runs 7 to 9 p.m. and carries a Friday rain date.
Performers are posted on the Denville Arts Council event calendar as they are confirmed.
The Arts Council has more on its fall calendar as well, including Art in the Park at Hogan’s Memorial Park on September 6 and the Fairy Trail Walk at Muriel Hepner Park on October 3.
