DENVILLE, NJ – Could the next big voice in podcasting come from Denville? Harley Falvo, a Denville resident and communications executive, has reached the Top 15 in her group in Top Host, a national competition to find the next great podcast host, featuring Ryan Seacrest.

The winner will host a six-episode podcast produced by iHeartRadio, take home $25,000 and appear as a guest on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Harley has already advanced through multiple rounds against aspiring hosts from across the country, and she is asking her hometown to help her keep going.

A Storyteller Taking a Chance on Herself

Harley has spent years helping executives and organizations find their voices and share their stories. Now she is stepping up to the mic for a dream of her own.

“Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do. I’ve spent my career helping others find their voice, and now I’m taking a chance on a dream of my own,” Harley said.

On her Top Host profile, she sums up her pitch in two lines: “I can talk to anyone, make anything interesting, spot what’s next, and uncover stories worth hearing. Give me a mic. I’ll give you a show.”

Her favorite part of hosting, she writes, is “the moment someone forgets they’re being interviewed and starts telling me the real story.” She says she wants her podcast to be built on conversations that help listeners understand themselves a little better.

Asked what she would do with the $25,000, Harley wrote that she would take her family somewhere amazing and give herself the freedom to bet on herself. “I want my son to see that too, because dreams aren’t just things we talk about,” she wrote.

A Competition With a Meaningful Mission

Top Host raises money for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a nonprofit that builds Seacrest Studios inside pediatric hospitals. These broadcast media studios give young patients a creative outlet to explore radio, television and new media during their hospital stays.

According to the official rules, donations made through voting go to the charity Action Initiative Team, which grants the funds, minus competition fees and costs, to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The competition is run by Colossal Management, LLC, and is not owned or operated by Ryan Seacrest or iHeartMedia.

How to Vote for Harley

Harley is now competing in the Top 10 round. Voting to reach the Top 10 ends Thursday, October 29, at 7 p.m. Pacific time (10 p.m. Eastern). Later rounds run through early December, with the winner to be announced by January 15, 2027.

Denville, Let’s Make Some Noise

“This is an incredible opportunity, and it would mean so much to have the support of the Denville community. Sometimes, all it takes is a little encouragement to turn a lifelong dream into something real,” Harley said.
