Centenary University will open its Hackettstown campus to prospective students and their families on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, with a Fall Open House running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. A student and alumni success panel opens the day at 10 a.m., followed by an academic brunch and department showcase at 11 a.m. A gym welcome experience begins at noon, campus tours run at 12:30 p.m., and interactive academic sessions close things out from 1:15 to 2 p.m.
Visitors will meet faculty, talk with current students and alumni, and sit in on hands-on sessions tied to the programs they are considering. Tours cover residence life, student organizations and athletics, with admissions, financial aid and student support staff available throughout the day.
“Choosing a university is about finding a place where you feel supported and can see a future for yourself,” said Kathleen Greco, dean of enrollment.
Centenary offers degrees through the Department of Equine Studies and Animal Health, the Department of Theatre Arts, the School of Business, Media, and Writing, the School of Education and Humanities, and the School of Natural, Health, Social, and Behavioral Sciences. Programs include nursing, health sciences, cybersecurity, data analytics, computer science, digital humanities, theatre arts, and equine and animal health. The university keeps a 12-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio and runs traditional, online, evening and accelerated courses.
Founded in 1867, Centenary sits in Warren County just over the Morris County line, which puts it within an easy drive for Denville families working through a college search. We covered the university earlier this month when a freshman won a full ride Hill Scholarship.
